BEGINNER FRIENDLY - Wool Penny Star Garland Embroidery Class

Join us to make this little wooly piece of winter employing the art of the wool penny first used in the 1800s to create rugs from scraps of blankets and clothing. Using 100% felted wool star shapes we will use a few simple embroidery (beginner friendly) stitches and maybe even a touch of sparkle with beads or sequins. Once the 6 stars are embroidered, we will sew them together to form a small decorative garland suitable for your winter window or wall.

Audience: Adult and Teen beginner and intermediate embroiderers
