I've always loved water and swimming. Water is healing. The sea is wild. It's a magical place. Julia Donaldson sums up my wonder of the sea in her children's book The Snail and the Whale: "A humpback whale, immensely long. Who sang to the snail a wonderful song. Of shimmering ice and coral caves. And shooting stars and enormous waves."
