Anni Quilt Pattern

Anni is a quilt design that was inspired by modern art, particularly the work of Josef Albers and his "Homage to the Square" series of color explorations. The large scale blocks in the pattern are made using a modernized log cabin construction and provide a great opportunity to play with color combinations. Use solid colored cottons or incorporate some prints into your own version. Anni creates a strong graphic design that is at once both modern and timeless and is suitable for both beginner and advanced quilters alike. 

Heather’s original Anni quilt was a winner of the Modern Quilt Guild's Project Modern Challenge and is featured in the book, "Lucky Spool's Essential Guide to Modern Quilt Making."
